Ages 15, 16 & 17

38-Hour Teen Driver Education Course

Required for drivers ages 15–17 who need to complete the Louisiana teen driver education requirements.

$550 total

$275 due to register · $275 balance

  • 30 hours of classroom instruction
  • 8 hours of behind-the-wheel training
  • $275 due at registration
  • Remaining $275 due on the final day of classroom instruction

Ages 18 and older

14-Hour Adult Pre-Licensing Course

Required pre-licensing course for anyone 18 years of age or older applying for a Louisiana license.

$520 total

$260 due to register · $260 balance

  • 6 hours of classroom instruction
  • 8 hours of behind-the-wheel training — 2 hours per day for 4 days
  • $260 due at registration
  • Remaining $260 due when scheduling/completing the remaining behind-the-wheel training
